Lebanon is fortunate in that once every couple of years it hosts two springs – at least a pair festivals that both name themselves after the season.Described on the organization's website as "unique both in its concept and program," the Spring Festival typically stages multidisciplinary shows by global performers in theater, music and dance as well as conferences that explore current political affairs. This year, the festival presents a three-performance program.Since then, the band has gone on to headline the Beirut Holidays Festival in 2013 and perform at many venues throughout Lebanon and the Arab world. The Samir Kassir Foundation's Beirut Spring Festival is being staged June 3-7 in various venues around Beirut.
