The 12th edition of JABAL commenced at Le Yacht Club Gallery, Zaitunay Bay Wednesday.Comprised mostly of comics, illustrations and contemporary art, the 2016 edition of the show has been curated by Beirut Art Fair founder-director Laure d'Hauteville, BAF exhibitor and relations head Marine Bougaran and BAF co-founder Pascal Odille, who's now at the Chambre Nationale des Experts Specialises, an art consultancy.The primary goal of JABAL 2016 is to create a platform for aspiring and professional artists that work with unconventional media and forms of expression such as comics, animated film and album art.JABAL runs through May 7 at Le Yacht Club Gallery, Zaitunay Bay.
