In all the years I've been a fan of Star Wars, no installment has ever left me as torn as "The Last Jedi".There is a wide divide between critics and fans: a critical score around the mid-upper 90s as opposed to a "rotten" audience score of around 56 percent.I extremely enjoyed the film, right up to the end credits, so why am I, along with countless other Star Wars fans, feeling unhappy? What Star Wars fans want is something no one can deliver, not even Disney. We respond, offering up our own take on what's wrong with the franchise – oblivious to the fact that such posts are often click-bait, designed to garner traffic for the sake of exposure and possibly YouTube dollars. The final reason for our discontent is that "Star Wars" is more than 40 years old. Instead of complaining I will call a spade a spade and admit that I haven't had this much fun watching a Star Wars film since I went to see "The Empire Strikes Back" with my Dad.
