The organizers of the 2017 Beirut Art Fair (nee MENASART) have declared that the threefold focus of this year's event is "to foster a spirit of expansion and renewal, to promote the discovery of young talents, and to unfold a new perspective on the recent history of creation and collecting in Lebanon".New to the 2017 edition will be "Ourouba, The Eye of Lebanon," an exhibition of work selected from various Lebanese collections as curated by Rose Issa, the Lebanese-Iranian author and authority in the contemporary art of the region.19-26), which promises to scatter 20 pieces of contemporary art about various central Beirut commercial spaces.
