The sixth edition of International Jazz Day is being marked in Lebanon with a weekend of free jazz concerts at Nijmeh Square.Launched by UNESCO in 2011, International Jazz Day is celebrated by jazz lovers in 196 countries every year on April 30 .Sunday evening will stage shows from the Sweet Ride Blues Band, Quad 5, the Zela Margossian Quintet and Real Deal Blues Band. The final day will feature the Anna Mattar Jazz Quartet, Band Audi, and the Monday Blues Band, with Rum'N'Salty closing the evening.International Jazz Day concerts will take place at Nijmeh Square, Downtown, from April 28-30, 6:30 p.m. to midnight.
