The Hollywood Foreign Press Association nominated Nadine Labaki's "Capernaum" for a 2019 Golden Globes award Tuesday evening Beirut time.America's annual Golden Globes Awards recognizes the year's most notable films and television series.While U.S. movies tend to dominant (non-English-language titles are not eligible for the Globes' Best Film nomination), foreign films like "Capernaum" are recognized in their own category.Labaki faces some stiff competition in the Globes' 2019 best foreign film contest.
