After some downtime, Zico House, Sanayeh's renowned artist space, is hosting "Talent Unbound," a thematically diverse group exhibition punctuated by workshops and artist talks. The show is organized by Beirut Art Salon, a community for artists, and the works on show, all made in the last few years, run the gamut from oils to photography. As the observer knows that the scenes are taken in big cities, the photos "The City's Mine," 2012, "Dot," 2012, "Podium," 2013, "Infinity, 2012, and "Evidence," 2015, depict the dialectic of loneliness and connectedness. Also exhibiting their photography are Tala Sharafeddine and Bashir Bou Raffoul, whose four-print series present a male body in movement against a black background. The six-acrylic series of Nathalie Weis shows color-saturated cartoon figures – speech bubbles and all – in a nod to American pop art.
