The 15th edition of Zouk Mikael International Festival is set to return to the Kesrouan town's Roman Amphitheater this July, with a four-concert program appealing to a wide range of musical tastes.St. Germain's sound is French house and nu jazz – a form of jazz-inflected electronic music. The festival is scheduled to close July 17, with an evening of tarab music from Saad Ramadan, who has just returned from a tour in France. His performance will feature the songs of Abdel Halim Hafez, particularly tunes from the Egyptian vocalist's record "Al Andalib al-Asmar". ZMIF has had budgeting strains this year – like so many of Lebanon's summer festivals – but the organizers remain hopeful.
