The closing performance of Lebanon's European Theatre Festival was a contemporary adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's well-known commedia dell'arte play "Arlecchino Servant of Two Masters".The performance was unique not only in the way it incorporated audience members into the action, but in the way it integrated Italian and Lebanese pop culture into a historical theatrical style."Arlecchino" was the final performance of Lebanon's first European Theatre Festival, which ran across the month of October in partnership with Masrah al-Madina. The event staged seven plays from six European Union member states, and Lebanon.
