A short ride from the capital lies Jbeil's Modern and Contemporary Art Museum, a home to art installations and sculptures that overlooks the Adonis Valley, far from any urban ruckus.The property is now a nature-encircled retreat, showcasing a growing permanent collection of 350 modern sculptures and installations by 115 artists.It also holds an archive of over 1,500 books on Lebanese art and 500 files about Lebanese artists. Set to open in November, MACAM's next exhibition will showcase sculptures by Lebanese artist Hussain Hussain.It's about "The Incoherents," who were a group of people who were against art in the late 19th century and were active between 1882 till the mid-1890s.
