The Boghossian Foundation held its annual Young Lebanese Artists Awards Wednesday, conferring prizes for painting, photography and illustration to five Lebanese artists and creators under 40 .Founded in 1992, the Boghossian Foundation supports cultural projects around the world.The prize for painting went to Johnny Semaan, whose work shows faceless abstracted figures, sometimes with illegible writing scrawled across the earth-tone background.The cinema prize went to Michel Kammoun for "Beirut Hold'em".
