BEIRUT: The Lebanese wine festival was opened Wednesday evening for the fourth consecutive year in the presence of MP Michel Pharaon, who focused on the importance of the wine industry and its role in creating job opportunities mainly in rural areas.
“Wine has a historical and cultural value in Lebanon and hence it should not be prevented in Lebanese restaurants,” he added.
Pharaon has also toured the exhibition, which took place in the Beirut hippodrome, and tasted some of the finest Lebanese wine while praising the high quality of the Lebanese industrial sector.
