Iranian, Lebanese ministers to hold economic meeting

BEIRUT: Iran and Lebanon will hold a joint economic committee in Beirut in late October, Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi said.

Roknabadi told Mehr news agency Tuesday that several ministers from both sides will take part in the meeting, Tehran Times reported.

It quoted the Iranian envoy as saying that 26 memorandums of understanding have been inked between the two countries since the official visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Lebanon last year.
