BEIRUT: Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri Friday offered his condolences to Speaker Nabih Berri over the victims from the deadly car bombing that rocked Ruwaiss, a neighborhood in Beirut’s southern suburb.
According to a statement from the former prime minister’s office, Hariri contacted Berri and offered his heartfelt condolences to the speaker and the families of the victims of the Ruwaiss bombing.
The Future Movement leader also stressed “the need for joint efforts to protect Lebanon from the dangers threatening it and to address the causes of tension and adopt reasonable political rhetoric at such delicate times.”
