BEIRUT: The Finance Ministry said Tuesday it would only authorize value added tax refunds for companies providing full invoice documentation. “We will reject outright any VAT reduction or refund if any information is missing,” a statement said. The statement added that invoices should include concerned persons’ fiscal number, address, a full invoice serial number and full name. Revenues from VAT surged by more than 5 percent in the first eight months of this year to reach $1.5 billion.
