BEIRUT: The Telecommunications Ministry said Monday that the state-owned telecoms company OGERO would not cut off the phone lines of customers who are unable to pay bills because of an ongoing public sector strike.
“We have requested the concerned parties not to cut the landline telephone lines of subscribers who did not settle the December bills,” the statement said, adding that the measure would remain active throughout the strike.
