Mohammad Choucair, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry, warned Thursday against allowing the economy to deteriorate further and urged the government to unite in a bid to save Lebanese businesses from going bankrupt.Economy Minister Alain Hakim reiterated the government's responsibility in supporting innovation and creating a friendly environment for family businesses, especially that they play a vital role in the Lebanese economy in terms of creating job opportunities and stimulating growth.Hakim emphasized the importance of these businesses, given that they constitute around 85 percent of companies worldwide. Sreih believes that the most important measure to be taken by family businesses to guarantee their success is structuring and the creation of business plans, whether at the family or business levels.
