France announced Thursday that it is working on creating partnerships between Lebanese and French innovators and startups.The United Kingdom also announced last year a partnership between British and Lebanese startup companies.BDL Accelerate is a yearly event organized by Lebanon's Central Bank to gather entrepreneurs, investors and support institutions from key emerging startup ecosystems across five continents.Bonne said that the French government succeeded in engaging in proactive public policies at all levels in a bid to support the creation of startups by both citizens and foreign investors.One of the initiatives undertaken by the French government is the French Tech Ticket which is a program designed for non-French entrepreneurs from all over the world who want to set up their startup in Paris.Bonne praised the Central Bank for the incentives it is offering to entrepreneurs through circular 331 .The $400 million in this new initiative is 75-percent guaranteed by the BDL for local banks, equity investment accelerators, incubators, funds and startups.
