Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi failed to end the standoff between Casino du Liban and striking employees over the expulsion of 191 workers, the head of a casino union said Thursday.However, many politicians and experts accuse the chairman of Casino du Liban, Hamid Kraydeh, of mismanaging the institution and hiring employees who are only loyal to him.It is believed that many of the casino's employees were appointed by politicians on the basis of religion or loyalty.The games union filed an official complaint at the Labor Ministry two days after Casino du Liban's administration announced the mass layoffs.
