The Central Bank is working for the interests of Lebanon despite coming under attacks, Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh said Monday at an event in Beirut.The Central Bank governor did not say who was criticizing or attacking the bank.The Central Bank of Lebanon and all Lebanese banks are fully compliant with international resolutions and decisions pertaining to money laundering and terrorist financing, according to these sources, who also warned that Lebanon has no choice but to abide by the guidelines set by the U.S. Treasury.
