Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil promised Tuesday to release the shares of the telecom revenues to the municipalities.Speaking at a news conference at the Finance Ministry, Khalil explained that the Telecom Ministry has transferred LL673 billion ($448 million) that were the shares of the municipalities from 2010 to 2014 . The minister added that the share of the municipalities from the revenues of the mobile networks from 1/6/2014 to 30/11/2014 reached LL738.9 billion. Khalid admitted that for many years the municipalities did not receive their fair share from the telecom revenues.
