Lebanese are buying more residential apartments in Cyprus, said Georges Chehwan, chairman of Plus Properties.Chehwan said that the great demand on residential apartments in Cyprus prompted him to start with five to six projects in the European country.Chehwan said that Lebanese are also investing in Cyprus in sectors such as real estate and hotels.The increase in Lebanese investments in Cyprus led to the creation of the Lebanese Cypriot Business Council chaired by Chehwan with a board of directors comprising 15 members. Chehwan said that the council also aims at attracting Cypriot tourists to Lebanon.
