It added that Lebanon ranked in 62nd place among 147 markets in terms of premiums generated in 2015 .The bank's report said that Lebanon generated $1.07 billion in non-life premiums last year, ranking it in 63rd place among the largest 88 markets in terms of premiums and in seventh place among Arab countries.It added that non-life premiums generated in Lebanon rose by 1.6 percent in nominal terms and by 5.5 percent in real terms in 2015 . The report noted that Lebanon generated $455 million in life premiums in 2015, ranking it in 61st place among the 88 markets and in fourth place in the Arab world, relative to 66th place worldwide and fourth place regionally in 2014 .The report said that life premiums in Lebanon accounted for 0.02 percent of global life premiums, for 0.2 percent of such premiums generated in emerging markets excluding China, and for 3.5 percent of life premiums produced in the Middle East and Central Asia region in 2015 .
