Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said Tuesday that there is no threat to the monetary stability in Lebanon and denied reports of withdrawal of Arab gulf deposits from Lebanese banks.Alister Smith, executive director for Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the World Bank Group, described the meeting with the minister as positive.He added that talks focused on the problems facing Lebanon since the Syrian crisis broke out and the best ways to solve them. Khalil said that Lebanon has not yet understood the size of assistance the international community will give to Lebanon to reduce the economic ramification of the Syrian refugees.
