Lebanon's budget deficit in 2015 soared to 29.22 percent of spending compared to 22.02 percent in 2014, the Finance Ministry said Wednesday.Total government cash stood at LL14.435 trillion in 2015, a decrease of 11.98 percent compared to the same period of 2014 .Total government expenditures in 2015 was LL21.392 trillion, a drop of only 3.04 percent compared to the same period of last year. The Customs revenues in 2015 rose by 1.07 percent while VAT proceeds fell by 4.34 percent.
