Central Bank Gov. Riad Salameh pledged that Lebanon would continue fighting for digital security and this will help in the fight against cybercrime.Salameh said that these conferences have issued many recommendations to tackle cybercrime in the country."In view of this development, it was necessary to develop the ISF to keep abreast with the technological revolution, and this will help us combat the growing phenomenon of cybercrime and other similar crimes in the future," Basbous explained.He added that in light of this development it has become imperative to close ranks and coordinate with all concerned departments to check the rise of cybercrime in Lebanon. Mansour said based on recent studies, cybercrimes have increased in Lebanon over the past three years.
