MedInvesment Bank, the financial arm of Bankmed, conducted a successful $25 million securitization for Lebanon's largest car rental company, the biggest such transaction in the Levant for a car rental business, the bank announced in a statement. The statement said that MedInvesment Bank and Kurban Group s.a.l. (Holding) announced the successful closing of ABA SEC I MSF, the first rental fleet securitization in Lebanon and the Levant region and the largest non-mortgage securitization in Lebanon to date. I am glad it was a success," said Raja Halim Kurban, the managing director of the Companies.For his part, Adel Jabre, managing director of MedInvesment Bank, lead manager of ABA SEC I MSF, stressed the transaction's importance.
