Prime Minister Saad Hariri hailed Monday the election of the new executive committee for Lebanon's Socio-economic Council headed by Charles Arbid.This is the first election of the council's executive committee in more than 15 years.Consensus was reached on the choice of Lebanese Franchise Association head Arbid as the new president. The nine members of the executive committee were also appointed by consensus without the need for a formal vote.Abi Khalil was tasked with producing a technical report on these three companies, which must then go through Hariri and the president before it can be referred to Cabinet.
