Premier Saad Hariri said the Lebanese economy can't handle big taxes at the moment.The delegation visited the prime minister at the Grand Serail to voice their opposition to the new taxes proposed in the 2017 draft budget. Business leaders fear that these proposed taxes would deal a blow to the already struggling economy.But Hariri stressed that despite his reservations for big taxes the Cabinet is determined to endorse the draft budget as soon as possible. Lebanon has been without an official budget since 2005 .Chammas voiced his opposition to the proposed taxes that would surely harm the economy and trade activity.
