Hajj Hasan said that one of the challenges facing the industrial sector is the restrictions imposed by other countries on Lebanese exports.According to statement issued Monday by the Industry Ministry, industrial exports in Lebanon dropped by 14.5 percent in 2016 compared to a year earlier.The ministry's statement noted that the monthly average of industrial exports in 2016 reached $210.6 million compared to $246.3 million in 2015 and $262.5 million in 2014 .The statement added that Arab countries ranked first on the list of importers of Lebanese industrial products at $122.2 million for December 2016, equivalent to 56.5 percent of total industrial exports.
