The retail-activity indicator registered a decrease for the fourth consecutive year with a drop by 0.75 percent in 2016 compared to a year earlier, Charles Arbid, head of the Lebanese Franchise Association, said Wednesday.The report said the retail indicator for food and beverages increased by 14 percent in 2016 compared to 2015 but remained below the 2012 base year level by 5.27 percent.It added that the indicator for medical services went up by 3.65 percent in 2016 compared to 2015 while it surpassed its 2012 base year level by 40.04 percent.
