Gulf investors looking for good opportunitiesGulf investors are keen to return to Lebanon but they are seeking appropriate investment opportunities, IDAL Project Manager Leila Sawaya al-Khoury said. Sawaya al-Khoury said that IDAL is currently identifying investment opportunities in the Chouf and Jezzine, and hopes to attract investors from Lebanon, the region and further afield.Sawaya al-Khoury said the government is currently working with the prime minister's office on identifying key issues preventing investors from coming to Lebanon, so that these can be dealt with immediately.Sawaya al-Khoury added that Lebanon's competitiveness is reflected in the fact that foreign direct investment's contribution to GDP in Lebanon is the highest compared to its regional peers.
