Industry Minister Hussein Hajj Hasan repeated his promises to protect local production and increase the local industry's competitiveness.The opening of the new factory enables the production of pipes in Lebanon instead of producing in Cyprus or importing from other countries and thus it reduces the cost of production while providing high-quality polyethylene pipes.Khoury hopes that the new protection measures targeting the industrial sector cover all other sectors in Lebanon as well.She added that the goal of this new factory is to produce local items according to the highest local standards while contributing to the development of the industrial sector.
