Lebanon's private sector continued to contract rapidly in October amid concerns about new taxes and government salary scale, according to BLOM PMI which was released Friday.It added that the downturn was mainly on the back of continueddeterioration in business conditions, especially the fastening declines in companies' output levels and incoming new orders.Chami said purchasing activity among Lebanese businesses also decreased during the month, though inventory levels continued to rise in line with weaker sales.
