Finance Minister Ali Hasan Khalil said Friday that one of the priorities of the government is to reduce the deficit of Elecricite du Liban and lower interest rates.Khalil insisted that the Finance Ministry was hammering out the 2018 draft budget which would be discussed by the government and Parliament for approval.Khalil also commented on gas exploration and its impact on the economy.Khalil said that international organizations do not think highly of Lebanon in terms of doing business.Salameh projected the inflation rate in Lebanon at 3.5 percent and the GDP growth at 2.5 percent.
