The Syndicate of Bank Employees in Lebanon staged a sit-in near the central bank Wednesday to demand the renewal of collective contracts with commercial banks.Today, this solidarity stand in front of the Banque du Liban demonstrates the support of bank employees to the demands of the syndicate," Hajj said.He added the syndicate plans another sit-in near Bank Street in Downtown to renew the demands.It is not clear yet if all the bank employees will respond to a call to strike by the syndicate.
