Political differences have held back tourism industry: Hariri

Kountoura and Guidanian at the conference in Beirut. (The Daily Star/Mohamad Azakir)

This article was amended on Wednesday, March 20 2019

A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that Hariri said about 12,000 Saudi nationals had visited Lebanon in the four days preceding the conference. In fact, Hariri was referring to the weekend directly following the lifting of a Saudi travel warning last month. The Daily Star regrets this error.
