Lebanon's only legal gambling center is setting the stage to launch the country's first online gambling and sports betting in six months, Casino du Liban Chairman Roland Khoury said Wednesday.Feeling the growing heat of competition from the hundreds of amusement arcades in Lebanon and Cyprus' plan to unveil the $400 million casino, Khoury is trying to explore other ways to maintain and even boost the profits of Casino du Liban which was founded in 1959 .Khoury said he is confident that the casino can generate bigger revenues and profits if the state slapped the same taxes on slot machines in these amusement centers as it is doing with the slot machines as Casino du Liban.
