TOKYO: State-run Saudi Aramco has set its August contract price for propane at $775 a tonne, up $200, or nearly 35 percent, from the July level, an industry source said on Tuesday.
The company also raised its August butane price by $155, or 25 percent, from July, to $775 a tonne, the source said.
The prices provide a benchmark against which Middle East sales of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Asia are priced.
