Mel Gibson dines out the Ecclestone sisters

Mel Gibson enjoyed a dinner with Petra and Tamara Ecclestone Wednesday night as the trio dined out at exclusive Hollywood restaurant, Boa.

The “Mad Max” actor and the British sisters - daughters of Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone - dined at West Hollywood's exclusive Boa restaurant and all three seemed to be having a great time.

The billionaire sisters are known for their extravagant lifestyle and Petra recently bought Candy Spelling's Beverly Hills home for $85 million.

And it seems Mel could do with some cheering up after it was revealed last month how he is being sued by his stepmother.

Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson - who married the actor's father Hutton Gibson in 2001 - claims Mel is responsible for their break-up after her spouse filed for divorce and kicked her out of their home in June.

Teddy, 78, is suing Mel for $65,000 to cover the legal bills from both her divorce and a court order forcing him to let her into the marital home.

She also filed for a restraining order against Mel, alleging the 'Braveheart' star had threatened her and tried to sabotage her marriage.
