The 2015 Dubai International Motor Show, running from Nov. 10-14 at the Dubai Trade Center is all that and more, featuring classic cars collectively worth nearly $100 million, more than 15 world premieres, 130 regional premieres and over 15 concept cars from leading manufactures and brands, in addition to all the other new models on display, all under one roof.Some of the more notable fresh takes on historic legends include the iconic GT40 and Ford is at it again with an all-new take on the iconic automobile. The all-new GT supercar, which features rear-wheel drive, a midmounted engine, and a sleek, aerodynamic, two-door coupe body shel, is propelled by the most powerful EcoBoost production engine ever built – a next-generation twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V-6 producing more than 600 PS. Making its regional debut in Dubai, the GT supercar features advanced lightweight composites, which will be seen on Ford's entire future product lineup.This new grille will be introduced progressively across all future Lincoln products.On show is the Aston Martin DB10 driven by James Bond in "Spectre," the latest 007 flick.Ferrari is also readily covered with the Dino 247 GT, the 512 Berlinetta Boxer, the 328GTS, the Testarossa, the F40 and the F50 to name a few.There's also a sizzling '60s Maserati Ghibli coupe, the car that made this journalist fall in love with automobiles.
