BEIRUT: It would seem like a pretty straightforward task: Take a sleek four-door sedan, remove the rear doors, make the front doors longer and the result is a sexy coupe.I'm talking, of course, about the latest iteration of the C-Class Coupe. In that regard, the 2017 C-Class Coupe, which is based on the same platform as its sedan sibling, is nothing less than a stylistic triumph. That persona also translates to how it feels to drive the C-Class Coupe.Considering that the variant I was provided with by T. Gargour & Fils was the C180 Coupe with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mill, I had my concerns regarding how well that engine would propel this nearly 1,500 kilogram car.It certainly has competition, but as I said before it's got its own unique personality, and parking that the C180 Coupe's personality in your driveway will cost you just a few thousand north of what you would pay for the sedan version.
