Every once in a while I come across a car that's so basic that it makes more sense to wonder how best you can spend the amount of money that it is being asked for it.I'm talking, of course, about the Nissan Sunny, a name that has been around since 1966, before I was born. So just what makes this car worthy of such prevalence? That begs the question: Is that the best car to spend at least 15 grand on?That I can understand, considering the purpose was to produce a budget car.On the other hand, the entry-model Sunny S does come with two front air bags, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution and brake assist, so it offers more safety gear than some more expensive cars on the market. But as I said before, you get what you pay for, and whether this is the car for you comes down to your priorities. For this price, you have a few other alternatives on the market, but nothing that's superior to this car except, perhaps, in styling.
