Another thing whose answer eludes me is how two cars based on the same platform and using the same engine, transmission and suspension and even some interior components could demand such different prices. As cars of this category go, the GLA 200 is certainly attractive.Wearing tall 18-inch rims, the car sits higher than a typical car, and wears sinewy sheet metal that puts it apart from most rivals. The car also comes with a huge repertoire of features that you usually don't find in a car of this category, and definitely makes it a joy during commutes. The GLA's A-class derived platform is shared withs the Infiniti Q30, including its chassis, its 1.6-liter mill and its seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, not to mention the suspension and numerous other components.Even if you consider that the Q30 lacks a great deal of the features included in the Benz, the Q30S variant does not, and offers a Mercedes-Benz-derived turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 210 horsepower, the same transmission, all-wheel drive and much better handling, not to mention real leather seats.
