It was a quiet cocktail reception, held by Hamra hotel EighteenSixtySix Court & Suites Tuesday evening to launch the Tree of Orbs project, a fundraising initiative with the Lebanese Autism Society (LAS).Part of the Christmas decorations that will be placed in the court of EighteenSixtySix is the Tree of Orbs.LAS is also seeking to fund a specialized community living and learning center for autism, to help with the transition to adulthood.EighteenSixtySix Court & Suites' stated fundraising target is $5,000, which will go some way toward continuing the work of LAS.
