There was something almost surreal about the launch of the new Mercedes-Benz concept store at their Dora showroom Tuesday night. Not just Mercedes-Benz cars – interspersed between them were some of the leading designers, artists and chefs in Lebanon; each showcasing work made exclusively for the Mercedes-Benz concept store.Among the fans of Debs' work was designer Maria Hibri, one of the minds behind Bokja Design, whose work was on display the other side of the showroom.Hibri praised the concept behind Mercedes-Benz's new store and the artistic creativity it inspired.Hibri said that collaboration had been a key ingredient in the design, as it had in the concept store itself. The Mercedes-Benz concept store in Dora will be open to the public from Nov. 5 until Nov. 15 and features: art by Nour Tohme, Roger Moukarzel, Samar Hawa and Sandra Chidiac; fashion by Ghita Abi Hanna, Krikor Jabotian, Mira Hayek and Sarah's Bag; design by Bokja Design, Carlo Massoud, Nada Debs and Sandra Macaron; and food prepared by Alexis Couqley, Hussein Hadid, Joe Barza, Kamal Mouzawak and Wael Lazkani.
