Those who associate Jet Skiing with the adrenaline junkies who zip perilously along the country's crowded beaches got a more sophisticated view of the sport over the weekend, during the Lebanon Water Festival's Jet Ski race.Thirteen men and women participated in the race, which aimed to show how Jet Skiing is more than just a leisure activity done in open waters, Khoury said.Eddy Nehme, a judge at Saturday's race, said it was great to see a Jet Ski event that showcased the activity's athletic side.Though two of the participants were disqualified, most respected the rules set before the race, Nehme said.
