France's ambassador to Lebanon announced a new partnership with four travel agencies Tuesday, in a bid to boost the number of Lebanese tourists traveling to France.The program will allow four travel agents – Kurban, Straightline, Sun Holiday and Wild Discovery – to assist customers in securing tourist visas to France. According to the consulate, France received 46,000 applications for tourist visas from Lebanon in 2014, up from 26,000 in 2010, and 98 percent of those were granted.This partnership program to boost the number of Lebanese tourists traveling to France is part of a global initiative by the French Foreign Ministry to boost tourism to France. France's Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius announced last year that he planned to boost the annual number of tourists coming to France from 83 million to 100 million by 2030 .
