Lately, it was the garbage "crisis" (a polite term to describe the most recent indication of shady incompetence) that brought ordinary Lebanese together. No one except a semi-insane, fun-loving Lebanese would break into an all-singing all dancing zaffe one morning, just to greet the long-awaited garbage collectors. Our trash situation provoked and continues to inspire an endless stream of hilarious one-liners, fake ads and comebacks; a good thing, because laughter is one of our greatest weapons in fighting depression and distress. Put that way, always seeing the funny side is one way of signaling to the world that events haven't got the best of us yet.The resulting #UberRecycle initiative is a perfect example of resourceful imagination put to good work.
