Artists have represented the complexities of Lebanon in many forms, but this may be the first time a spider has been invoked.Since 2013, Eid has been working independently on architecture, furniture and lighting projects.Eid plans to continue producing her designs locally.After exhibiting at the Beirut Art Fair last September, Eid was approached by House of Today to attend its open call for young designers.The exhibition runs until Jan. 17, after which, "Vacancy," along with all of Eid's other products, will be available for purchase through www.architecture-mecanismes.com.
